More about DIVERSITY WORKSHOP AND CONVERSATION FACILITATION, CONFERENCE KEYNOTES AND OTHER SPEAKING

Though I used to be a professional comedian, you won't get a comedy act (I got sick of talking sh*t for laughs). However, you'll gain the benefit of the very unique ability I developed during my comedy career — making a new way of thinking about diversity and social change creative, fun and entertaining.

You won't get training, because discovering new questions is far more useful and interesting than being told the answers (and there really aren't any definitive ones, anyway). You won't get tick boxes, or told how to think, say or do the right thing — because there isn't a "right thing". Instead, you will become engaged in a thoughtful, provocative inquiry into your own, unique answers.

You'll experience something I learnt a long time ago, through my training as a counsellor — that being uncertain is a useful state, because you're able to consider all options. You'll understand what I've learnt from Sir Ken Robinson — that you can't have an original thought if you're not prepared to be wrong. You'll realise, like I did listening to Kathryn Schulz — that being wrong doesn't feel like we think it does. And you'll experience first hand the wisdom shared by Brené Brown — that being uncomfortable, or vulnerable, is where we find our strength.
